Hey,
When I was a teenager, I was warned about idol worship.
Usually in the context of “don’t make Michael Jordan your idol.”
(Chicago Bulls!!!)
But I always wondered…
How could a person make an idol out of an inanimate object?
It never made sense to me.
Until now.
Because in the age of AI, that ancient warning suddenly feels very modern.
Not because AI is bad.
But because of how easily we can begin surrendering our agency to something we created.
I use AI almost every day in my work. I see its power firsthand.
Which is exactly why I felt compelled to talk about this.
In this video, I explain the difference between a tool and an idol—and why the future won’t be determined by AI itself…
…but by how we choose to relate to it.

This is one of the most important conversations we can have right now.
With clarity,
