My Dear ,
Who told you your house wasn’t clean enough?
Decorated enough?
Fancy enough?
Or maybe it’s “too much”?
Let’s be real—one of the biggest reasons we don’t love our homes is because we don’t know what we love!
We clean for company.
We decorate with hand-me-downs or gifts.
And we ask, “What do you think about this?” instead of asking ourselves.
I’ve seen it all.
A woman criticized for having a house that was too
nice.
And then there’s me—hosting a weekly Bible study in a 900-square-foot barndominium with plain concrete floors (not the fancy stained and stamped kind either).
Here’s the truth: If you, the hostess, are pleased with your home and content with how it feels, that’s what matters.
Maybe you dream of ironing your dinner napkins, even if everyone else uses paper towels.
Maybe you want to embrace wrinkled laundry and toys on the floor without feeling like you need to apologize when your mother-in-law shows up
unannounced.
When I say every woman deserves a home she loves, I’m not talking about chasing someone else’s mythical standard.
I’m talking about becoming the Confident Woman who:
1️⃣ Knows what she likes.
2️⃣ Creates what she envisions.
3️⃣ And unapologetically embraces her unique style.
It’s your home. Let’s make it reflect that.
