Some stories are larger than life...

And deserve to be told on the biggest screen.
I grew up with "nuclear" drills. You know, where our teachers taught us to huddle under our metal desks so we would survive a nuclear attack.
Yeah, that made sense 😏
So, of course, I had to go see the REAGAN movie.
It did not disappoint.
But what I did NOT expect was how HARD the movie hit everyone in that theater. The entire audience started clapping at the end, and it seemed that the clapping was a tribute to the man who dedicated his life to fighting for ONE ideal - freedom.
I have seen AUTHORITARIAN regimes from both the right side and the left side of the spectrum. From hyper-restrictive churches and hyper-liberal politics.
It's a very strange thing to watch - two groups that have so little in common except the desire for power over the individual.
It's an elitist ideology that sees the common person as incapable of being fully autonomous - and best equipped to make the
decisions in their own life.
It's why I am so passionate about BOTH free will and entrepreneurship.
I grew up being told that RULES will keep me from sinning, and now I'm being told to trust the government on matters of conscience. And above all, KEEP
SILENT.
Well, I wasn't great at keeping silent at church (even though I was a woman - gasp!) and I'm not great at it now.
Especially when I know this - our SALVATION doesn't come from a Preacher or a Politician - our SALVATION comes from Jesus - and then WE are the LIGHT bringers to the world.
You don't need a strong leader. You need to STRONGLY LEAD - in YOUR specific arena of life.
And, as this movie taught,
Clarity is power.
Clarity creates focus.
Focus can change the world!
