My favorite
superhero growing up was Wonder Woman. She had those cool bracelets that blocked bullets.
True story - I once missed catching the
bus for school because I was watching an episode!
Anyhoo, growing up, I was far from being a Wonder Woman. In fact, I felt
like I was Captain Crybaby - the kid in class who cried when the teacher canceled recess because someone was talking too much.
I HATED
how sensitive I was, and how easily I cried.
I thought my sensitive nature was a weakness.
Until one day, when I realized, It IS NOT!
We all have aspects of ourselves that we might not have chosen. Physical, mental, emotional parts of us that feel like they're holding us back.
Question is, what are we going to do about these "flaws"? Are we going to go through life, apologizing for how we were created?
I hope not.
