I used to pay for our family vacations by saving $20 a week from the grocery bill for a year. At the end of the year, we had a $1,000 to
splurge on whatever we wanted to. 😆
By the way, this is why I really don't get worried about "losing all our money". I remember what it was like to not have money to lose!
That's also one of the reasons I am grateful NOW that Hiram was brave enough to start his own business over 15 years ago. And now I don't have to save for vacactions by scrimping on groceries.
In fact, today I am going to a FABULOUS resort to spend 3 days meeting other entrepreneurs, learning new business practices, and enjoying fabulous food in a gorgeous surrounding.
In other words, my PERFECT vacation plan.
I know, going to a "business conference" may not be
your idea of a good time.
