Hello, !
It’s no secret - I LOVE music. Music of all kinds. ANY kind of music that tells a story.
And the story that Sara Bareilles tells
in the song “I Choose You” is a PERFECT metaphor for
marriage.
Not for a PERFECT Marriage - because NO SUCH THING exists.
But this line -
We are not perfect
We’ll learn from our mistakes
And then -
Tell the world that we finally got it all
right
I CHOOSE YOU
Marriage is the most
intimate of relationships. It triggers every insecurity we have, every unhealed hurt from the past.
And yet, it is the MOST BEAUTIFUL thing in the world when we GET IT RIGHT.
It is such a BEAUTIFUL picture that God Himself uses marriage as a metaphor of Christ’s relationship with the
church.
That’s why I firmly believe that Christians especially need to know how to do marriage well.
THAT is a huge part of mine and Hiram’s motivation in hosting the 5 day challenge - “Make Your Marriage Great Again”
Listen, if you (or someone you know) desires to have a GREAT marriage, but has been afraid of being JUDGED for not already being perfect, THIS is for you.
God didn’t call me to judge (only those who are without sin should cast stones), but He DID put a deep desire in my heart
to help others have GREAT marriages.
If that is your desire too - make sure you sign up for the challenge quickly here. It starts on June 5th, and it is simply the best content and coaching I have
ever created - for the greatest value I have ever offered it.
OH, and check out “I Choose You” if you are looking for an encouraging love song!
Be Loved,
